KILVER COURT LAUNCHES CANDLELIT DOVECOTE EXPERIENCE
Make that special moment last a lifetime and capture the sweet smell of romance with Miller Harris at Kilver Court in Somerset
Kilver Court is delighted to be offering a brand new bespoke candlelit ceremony for wedding services being held at its beautiful Dovecote Chapel. Tucked away within Kilver Court’s breathtaking grounds in Somerset, the intimate chapel is an idyllic location for couples celebrating their love.
From December 2010 Kilver Court will be offering Scented Candlelit Weddings in its Dovecote Chapel. Brides and grooms to be will be able to select a luxurious Miller Harris fragranced candle of their choice for their candlelit wedding ceremony and to take home afterwards to remind them of their special day. Couples can choose from six memorable scents including:
• Citron Citron is the perfect Summer wedding fragrance with essence of Sicilian lemon, Spanish orange and Jamaican lime, given spin by cool mint and basil; and all the bright, clean freshness that the name suggests.
• Feuilles de Tabac takes you to the woody, smoky, romantic brasseries of Saint-Germain. Cuban cascarilla oil and pimento berries contrast with a cooling heart of pine needles and velvet sage. A sensuous choice, which will appeal to both brides and grooms.
• Fleur Oriental is perfect for capturing those last few moments before nightfall. A classic reinvention of the oriental perfume family, its lasting power comes from amber, vanilla and musk, lightened and animated by fresh orange flower, heliotrope, spicy carnation and Turkish rose.
• Terre de Bois is a chypre perfume, suited to the sophisticated modern couple who enjoy a perfume evocative of all that is urban and French. Galbanum, a resin from Persian fennel, juniper and clary sage are at the heart of this relaxing perfume. Vetiver, Malay patchouli and verbena give it a distinctive introductory edge.
Originally a mill and later the head quarters of iconic British fashion label Mulberry, Kilver Court with its historical gardens is the perfect wedding destination. A dream location for wedding receptions, Kilver Court Gardens has been licensed since Spring 2010 to carry out wedding ceremonies and offers an assortment of beautiful settings. Rolling lawns encircle a parterre,
millpond, waterfalls and a rockery, whilst The Dovecote Chapel provides a wonderfully secluded
spot for a marriage ceremony.
